Hello there! Im Lena, a designer operating under the broad umbrella of (speculative) design.

My practice revolves around bodies and our perception of them in our surroundings, both in
private and public, as well as the way we interact with eachother. Power structures, and our own place within them fascinate me aswell. 
I further like to research into the private part of my own, and our collective lives, because I very much believe that the private is political.

With a strong interest in fabric and textile, as well feminist theory and fashion, Im currently producing wearables that inspire to question the status quo. 

I believe that design has the unique capacity to engage with social issues in ways that transcend conventional knowledge and theoretical assumptions. Opening up dialogues on own experiences, as well as listening to the experiences of others.
