The project “scareable wearables” focuses on making the issue of sexual harassment, specifically in the context of catcalling and the discomfort that comes with it, more visible and empower victims of such incidents. Based on three animal defense mechanisms three wearables got creathed that are made to explore claiming space in public and aim to give comfort and empowerment through visibilty. Promoting the idea that these events can not go unseen anymore. The project was created in collaboration with Eva-Maria Lainer, Elizabeth Sharp und Rosa Sturm.
Scareable Wearable was exhibited during the “ICH UND ALLES UM MICH HERUM” Exhibit (2022) at Viktoria Wien.
